ABOUT SOLACE PUBLICATION
Solace Publication is an online literary magazine and blog dedicated to bringing comfort, as well as a safe space, to those who feel like they don’t belong.
ReBecca DeFazio (also known as More Than a Flower) created this publication because she wants to help showcase writers (photographers and other artists) and their talents, especially ones who might be overlooked. It has also been her dream to create something beautiful that touches on many important issues such as abuse/harassment, bullying, trauma, mental health, feminism/equality, etc.
This space is all inclusive; welcoming to all.
You belong here.

Our first magazine will come out at the end February 2020! The theme will be announced December 1st, 2019. We will accept all submissions for consideration until January 10th, 2020. (Visit the Solace Publication Tumblr to read all the guidelines before submitting!)
There is will also be an anthology coming in the future. All womxn will be able to submit pieces for this project. There will be more opportunities for everyone to submit in future projects. I will be releasing the theme of the anthology very soon so make sure to keep an eye out!
*There will only be 80 opportunities for the first anthology.*
Announcements will always be made on the Solace Publication blog (located on Tumblr) as well as on Instagram.
Feel free to tag Solace Publication in your poems on Instagram so that you can be considered for features! If you are uncomfortable or feel unsafe to express yourself and your work, you can send a private message and we will post it anonymously for you. We respect your choice to remain anonymous and want to give your voice a safe space.
You can also submit poetry, flash fiction, photography, art, short stories, etc, by just visiting the blog itself. Please be sure to read the guidelines before submitting and then clicking Submit to Solace! When submitting, make sure to leave your name and your preferred handle with the submission so that we are able to give you a heads up!
We cannot wait to read all of your work and get to know everyone!
